From what i remember.
Day 1:
Reached the Cambodia airport at around 5pm.( Their time )
Was fetched by someone.(Relative of mine?)
Upon reaching their gate, the sky is very dark already.
We went to pack the luggage, then dinner.
Very healthy dinner.
It's vegetarian.
Taste great.
Watched TV for awhile.
Then slept at about 9.
I was lead to the guest room, at storey two.
This is the room i slept in, for the next few days.
End of day one.
Day two:
Woke up early.(8am)
Went out to their garden to take some pictures.
They had alot of animals and pets around.
So it's just like a mini-zoo, literally.
Took some pictures of the mini-zoo.
Wild birds flying around here, drinking water.
This is Lucky, a wolf-dog.
I like it alot.
It is really huge, the biggest dog i've seen.
It is taller than me when both of us sits down, so it's huggable.
Cute, and it likes to play alot.
It's active at night as a guard dog, and sleeps in the morning.
Plays in the evening.
They had this pet, a golden bird thingy.
It is said to be an endangered species of bird.
It is golden in colour, and only 1000 are left in the world.
They had three, and the golden bird loves to play with humans alot.
It always races with me, though i always won.(DUH)
They had chickens too.
Two grown ones, four baby chicks.
Awesomely cute.
One of the chick is a 'Hen', and it's very cute.
Would have brought it home yaw.
In the cage, there is this bird, black in colour.
It talks.
Not a parrot, or maybe a black parrot.
It says: HAI BOSS/MOM/imitates the door opening/HAI/HARRO (All in chinese)
Inside the cage, there is this small little white bird.
It sings, pretty much.
At the back of the garden, there is a huge pond.
However, it is covered with water-land type of plants.
Totally covered.
Except for a part at the back.
Two goose can be found there.
Male and female.
Then i realised that, they are very cute YAW!
Garden.
However, this pond will be cleared out and a helicopter landing area thing, will replace it.
Walking around and playing with the animals.
Yes playing with animals.
Since it's alittle boring at 'home'.
I found something.
I'll show you four pictures, and tell me what is that.
Stayed at 'home' today.
Everyone is busy.
Took some pictures.
This is their Garden, the background is their home or rather, soon-to-be Guest houses.
And this is their new home, that will be done 1-2 years time.
It's more of a kingdom actually.
Cool, YAW.
And yes, if you are wondering; all the land they use, is equal to any ordinary secondary school.
Means: HUGE.
End of day two.
Day 3:
Did the usual stuff.
As in, same as the day before.
But, i explored the interior of the house.
They have this pet, that is really cute.
It's the Flying Squirrels, rare ones.
They are black and white, which is uncommon.
When you let them out of the cage, they just cling onto your shirt.
Just like hugging you, yaw.
Very lovable and huggable.
Cute.
Today, the family ordered a truck of carrots.
They wanted to make these carrots into some salted carrot thing for the temple.
Like doing a good deed or something.
Repeat: A truck of carrots.
They bought 2.7 tonnes today.
So everyone in the house went to help by cutting/washing the carrots.
I did too.
That's why i had many cuts and bandages on my hand.
I didn't take pictures today.
In the afternoon, some of us stopped working, and Laura sent us to a place in Cambodia.
We went to Suria(?)shopping mall.
It's a shopping mall, but prices can be bargained.
Didn't buy anything there though.
We had a late lunch(Brunch) at The Pizza Store.
Something similar to Pizza hut.
But their pizza is awesome.
It's better and healthier than Pizza hut.
Less oil, more bread/vege on the pizza.
Was great.
Shopped more.
Went 'home' at 6.
Had dinner.
Vegetarian.
75% of the carrots are waiting to be cut and washed.
Day 4:
Woke up early in the morning.(7am)
Joanna brought me around again.
Went to the Russian market.
The very well known, Russian market in Cambodia.
Why?
Cheap stuff YAW!
That's why Levi's jeans are $5.
In Cambodia, we use USD.
So $5 is about $7.5 SGD
Still cheap!
Since items are manufactured there.
These items will be gather at the Russian market before selling to any company like Levi's, Converse.
Anything that's made in Thailand, is actually from Cambodia.
Even the rice.
Anyway, won't talk much about the shopping spree.
Just spend about $60(USD)
Day 5:
Woke up early in the morning again.(7am)
Went to the Russian Market again.
It is really big.
You can find anything there.
From Hats to Shoes, Head to Toe.
But first, you have to bargain.
Since the place is full of tourist, they raised their price by 400-500%
And after raising, a Branded shirt could be $9
First thing's first.
Bargain.
Straight half-price-bargaining technic.(hangaku yasuikaimono no jutsu!)[Japanese language bar failed me]
Sorry, i was watching Naurto these days to kill time.
The aim is to get about 75% of their price.
Then it's worth it.
It's worth buying without bargaining but... oh well. YAW.
Went home, helped out with the carrots again.
End-
